The Crane Wife

The 2nd-3rd graders are studying the prairie and the pioneers. Nancy rewrote an old Japanese folktale, The Crane Wife, to take place in Nebraska with Sandhill Cranes, and it was set to music by our music teacher, Rebecca Abraxus. Here are photos from the Winter Gathering performance.
