Change: Our Year Long Theme

Everything changes! We began by studying the earth. They know a lot about it already, so we have decided to explore a local habitat, Sawhill Ponds, for the entire year. One of our dads, Gerald Trainor, is teaching the children how to track. They are learning to move quietly, to use sign language to communicate, to look for signs of animals and to open up their senses and experience nature in new ways. They are also learning to read scat and to eat prickly pear cactus!
